PROPOLIS
In order to protect the valuable contents of the hive, the bee isolates it and disinfects it with propolis, sealing the hive entrance with it (propolis = before the city). Propolis is a type of resin enriched with wax, pollen, enzymes, and other substances. It has bacteriostatic and bactericidal action. It acts against fungi and viruses, contains many antioxidants, and even offers protection against radiation. It is used for wound treatment and antisepsis of the oral-pharyngeal cavity.
