ROYAL JELLY
With this substance, produced by the young worker bees, only the larva that will become queens are nourished. Indicative of its high nutritional value, as long as a larva is fed with it, will live for about 6 years, whereas an ordinary larva lives only 5 months. Fresh royal jelly is white in color and has a gelatinous, viscous texture. It has a sour taste, which is due to the very low pH (2.5-4).
